Description
Please join us on September 20th for our annual chapter dinner. We are hosting the event in-person at Baltimore's Cruise Ship Terminal. IMMA Members and Guests: The Baltimore Cruise Ship Terminal has been gracious enough to offer us space to host our annual chapter dinner in person this year. This will be the first time we have been able to meet in-person as a chapter in nearly two years! With COVID cases rising, and concerns about variants we are maximizing the precautions we take. A few points: -The terminal has space to increase our distancing, and we are going to ask our attendees to wear masks when not eating. -We will be using the same caterer as we did in 2019. Instead of having platter service, we will be using boxed options to minimize the amount of contact. Agenda: -MD State Senator Katie Fry Hester will be giving a keynote presentation about the current state of Maryland's cybersecurity legislation and efforts. -We will introduce the new FBI leadership of the Baltimore field office. -A brief update of the state of the IMMA will be given. -We will recognize IMMA's award winners. -IMMA leadership will give a cybersecurity presentation. -SA (ret.), and former IMMA coordinator Lauren Schuler will give a presentation on her journey from 9/11. As we update order and presentation specifics, that information will be made available. Lastly, we recognize that it has been quite a while since we've been able to host an event, and that the current landscape is much different than it used to be. We have worked hard with various sponsors to give back what we can to our membership and guests. As a result, we are pricing tickets for the event at $15, down from the $35 in 2019. We are grateful for the sponsorship we receive as an organization, we well as the donations we receive from the membership. We look forward to seeing you in September! The IMMA's mission is to improve and enhance information sharing to protect the Maryland region critical infrastructure.
