Enjoy a Seed-to-Table Garden meal & Tea, made from greens you harvest yourself + Tour of the Organic-Permaculture "Hidden" Garden Garden Meal /Tea + Tour in our Urban-Organic-Permaculture-SECRET-Garden with our free range hens. Tucked away in the heart of Winter Park, blocks from Park Ave., you'll leave a little more peaceful that how you walked in. Great for couples or groups. Rain or shine because why not. Please bring an umbrella in the event of rain. What you will do/experience: A backyard Seed-to-Table Garden meal & Tea is prepared using eggs from our hens, greens from our organic garden, and a variety of homegrown tea. A tour of the garden occurs prior, and you are able to harvest greens for your meal. Your experience starts with an introduction to the many animals that call the garden home - primarily the hens. I will then lead a tour of the permaculture space that includes fruit trees, rare plants (You will get to sample katuk, african blue basil, etc.), edible flowers, and veggies (depending on the season). The tour ends with a demonstration of how to propagate organic longevity spinach. You get to take your cutting home with you! Finally, enjoy your tea and garden treats in our urban garden WONDERLAND. Trellis's of flowers grown from seed, paths that lead to fruit trees, and many nooks to sit and enjoy your tea and light meal. As you enjoy tea time, the hens will be around, hoping you'll drop them a piece of bread. The eggs used in your garden tea snacks are as fresh as they get, sometimes laid that day. We have multiple areas to sit and take it all in...A picnic table beneath the branches of a starfruit and peach tree, garden chairs nestled beneath a loquat tree with shampoo ginger in close proximity, and a large gathering table beneath the shade of multiple trees with chandeliers made of ferns. A rotating menu. Please be open to the rotation that the Garden provides. A sample of what you may be enjoying is as follows: A tasting menu created from our farm fresh eggs (sometimes laid that day). This may include shakshuka and bread for dipping, A quiche and garden salad, or tea sandwiches made from herbs and greens of the garden. Please allow yourself to be surprised at this evolving menu. A rotating tea menu. Please be open to the rotation that the Garden provides. A sample of what you may be enjoying is as follows: Tea prepared from the garden.
