INTERNS NEEDED FOR POP-UP EVENT TOMORROW NIGHT

WHATS HAPPENING? Two local businesses in the Arts and Jewelry industry Bodacious_Bijous and Stay Gucci Presents Pop-up with a purpose “Back to school Edition” For Children of Promise, NYC August 29, 2021 12noon to 5PM 1842 Webster Avenue, Bronx, NY 10457 This event will have a Live DJ, A variety of Vendors selling Jewelry, Art, Chef prepared food, Apparel and much more. There will be a master barber on site offering affordable haircuts and someone can even win a free haircut from one of the many raffles during the event. 
Interns can participate also. Aside from the many social media channels that will be recording, there will be local news networks to cover certain aspects of the event. Sydney Park, MISS New York will be making an appearance and a few other guests that can’t be named here. 
WHAT DO WE NEED? We need 6 interns that can help along side the organizers. (Ages 18 -99) Responsibilities may include: * Checking temperatures at the events entrance * Accepting or directing to donation areas. * Helping enforce face mask use and reasonable social distancing. * Light clean up if and when needed. * Bringing awareness to the organizer of any safety concerns. * MOST IMPORTANTLY, having a good time. WHAT DO YOU GET OUT OF IT? Internship is unpaid however, * You will get upon request references from event organizers for current or future employers. * You can add this to your Work experience (Security, Reception, Event organization, Crowd control etc) * Fill in pandemic related gaps. * You will have the opportunity to network with many business owners, artists of various skillsets, designers and social influencers. As long as it doesn’t interfere with their work or intern duties at the time, networking is encouraged. * Don’t worry about lunch, we’ve got your covered. * The opportunity to work future events as a paid staff member.
