Chamber Music Quad Cities returns to the stage on September 25 at the Unitarian Universalist Church in Davenport.
During his three-year stay in New York, the Czech composer Antonín Dvorák prophesied that music of the recently emancipated African Americans would serve as one source of a future repertoire of American concert music. We offer music of the African Americans Harry Burleigh, Scott Joplin, and Pulitzer-Prize winner George Walker, together with Dvorák's own F-minor Piano Trio.
Founded in 1994, Chamber Music Quad Cities presents varied concert programs in comfortable, intimiate settings.
