With our Discovery Days, you will discover historic landmarks, explore hidden gems, & connect with others through activities in Riverside! Let's Explore Riverside Together on Saturday, August 28th, and September 25th at the Riverside City Hall in Loveridge Plaza now FREE for everyone. We just ask you to pre-register for quicker check-in. Register here to get your own Discovery Passport and off you'll go discovering 6 civic rights statues, and various monuments and plaques along Main Street while watching video or listening to Riverside Leaders talk about how importance of these to us all. In addition you'll have an opportunity to visit museums, New library, and other locations of interest. Sign up to secure a timeslot for check-in between 9:00 am - 12 pm. This event is FREE for all! Please register for each member of your group so we get an accurate headcount. Tours and free admission on August 28th: Mission Inn, County Courthouse, Fire & Police Departments, New Main Library, Riverside Art Museum. Tours and free admission on September 25th: RCC Culinary & Music Schools, Riverside Art Museum, UCR Arts & Photography Museum, and an update on the Riverside Museum, and Cheech Center for the Arts. You'll check-in at Loveridge Plaza at Riverside City Hall, check at the tour table for what is available. Some tours, such as Fire Department and the Mission Inn, have limited space and times available. Then off you will go on your adventure throughout Downtown Riverside. Feel free to sign up for both days, invite your friends from other cities to show off the City of Riverside and all it has to offer. As you [re]Discover Riverside, you will be amazed at the diversity, historical landmarks, and your pride will grow with each destination. All the while you will be encouraged to post on social media, showing the world the many different options Riverside has. My Learning Studio OUTREACH (MLSO) is a 501c3 (26-2468733) that serves our community by investing in our youth. They provide free and reduced-fee tutoring and academic assistance to low-income, foster, adopted, at-risk, court-appointed children, and those affected financially by COVID-19. During the COVID-19 pandemic, MLSO was able to offer more than 2,000 hours of free or reduced fee tutoring to students in our community. We are needed this year, more than ever.
