Asheville Oktoberfest features craft beverage sampling from our area's best breweries and beverage makers. Ein Prosit! Guten Tag Oktoberfesters! The 12th Annual Asheville Oktoberfest is scheduled for Saturday, October 2 from 2-6pm at Pack Square Park in Downtown Asheville on. All ticket sales are final (**see below). Oktoberfest is brought to you by Explore Asheville and Green River Botanicals. Oktoberfest will look a bit different this year. We’re scaling things back in order to make more room for our attendees to socially distance. We are limiting ticket sales to 1,000 guests. Tickets will go on sale on Wednesday, September 1 at 10am and are $55 for general admission. If available, day-of tickets will be $60. Oktoberfest is a rain or shine event; no refunds are offered for weather (**see below). However, Eventbrite does allow you to transfer tickets into someone else's name. COVID-19 Policies: • All attendees will be required to show proof of vaccination or negative Covid test taken within 48 hours of the event. A photograph of your vaccination card or negative test will be accepted. Be sure that the photo clearly shows your name and birthdate. At-home rapid tests will not be accepted. • Masks/face coverings will be required when approaching beverage sampling booths, food vendors and sponsor tents. • The CDC strongly recommends masks to be worn by all patrons, regardless of vaccination status, during large outdoor events with crowds. • Please maintain distance between yourself/your group and others. COVID-19 policies are subject to change based on public health guidance and community trends. **The Asheville Downtown Association is legally bound to follow any restrictions or requirements set forth by local, state or federal officials, and the Asheville Downtown Association reserves the right to cancel or postpone Oktoberfest for any reason. If this occurs, tickets will be valid for the rescheduled date or a refund will be offered. The Asheville Downtown Association is not responsible for any additional costs incurred by attendees if the event is rescheduled or canceled. If you are unable to attend the event for any reason including exposure to Covid-19, your tickets will be valid for the 2022 event. Participants (list is subject to change): Archetype Brewing, Bhramari Brewing Company, Booda Kombucha, Catawba Brewing Company, Chateau Ste. Michelle, Cultivated Cocktails, Dalton Distillery, Devil's Foot Beverage Company, Flat Rock Cider Company, Foothills Brewing, French Broad River Brewery, Ginger’s Revenge, Hi-Wire Brewing, Highland Brewing Company, Lagunitas Brewing Company, Noble Cider, River Rat Brewery, Sierra Nevada Brewing Company and Wicked Weed Brewing Attendees will also have the opportunity to participate in the Costume Contest (including special props for the Best Mask), the Organic Free-range Socially Distant Chicken Dance and other activities. Stein Hoist, Pretzel Toss and other Oktoberfest games available throughout the day (sign up on site). Games participants will be required to wear a mask and games will be socially distanced. Lagerhosen will be providing entertainment and local food vendors include Bear’s Smokehouse BBQ, Blunt's Pretzels, Cecilia's Kitchen and Kernal Mike's Kettle Corn. We'll update this page as more information becomes available. ALL ATTENDEES MUST HAVE ID, NO EXCEPTIONS. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A VALID ID YOU WILL BE GIVEN A DESIGNATED DRIVER WRISTBAND, REGARDLESS OF AGE. Oktoberfest is a 21 and over festival; children and pets are not allowed. Designated driver tickets are available for $10 and include non-alcoholic beverage samples and entertainment. Oktoberfest sponsors include: Explore Asheville, Go Mini’s, Kudzu Brands, 97.7 The Brew, Alt 101.1 and Asheville Color & Imaging.
