Men a women veterans from Fresno, Madera, Mariposa, Merced and Oakhurst sharing their stories of being at war and adjusting to civilian life
"Veterans' Unforgotten Memories" is an emotional full length documentary featuring 37 local men and women veterans sharing stories of their years in the military and how it affected their lives to this day. Some stories are happy, some are sad. Several spouses speak of the challenges they faced when their partners were dealing with Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
Produced by film maker, Bill Lowe, local men and women of Fresno, Madera, Mariposa, Merced and Oakhurst were interviewed to create a narrative for the whole community to relate to.
The documentary includes writer, Samuel Hill, author of “Six Days to Zeus: Alive Day,” sharing his life story and his research into the challenges today’s soldiers face.
