Welcome to Canning 101 where you will learn how to take those fresh berries and other produce and turn them into a delicious jam or jelly! What a great home made gift to share with family and friends for the upcoming holiday season or just to enjoy yourself with a warm slice of sour dough bread , after you've taken our bread making class, of course ;)
Cost for this class is $55/person If you are signing up with more than 5 in your party please give us a call as we may be able to tailor more to your individual needs. No refunds or credits will be given if cancelled within 72 hours of event

What to Expect:
In this class, Chef Kris will teach you how to make Muscadine Jelly and Red Pepper Jam along with the basics of canning and preserving seasonal ingredients. You will have hands on in the process of making the jams and then enjoy a light meal of Arugula salad topped with a Boursin and Red Pepper Jam Galette while Chef demonstrates how the sealing process of the jam jars is completed. You will go home with a jar of jelly and a jar of jam. Two glasses of wine will be served during the class along with tea, lemonade, and water. You will receive a 20% discount on your purchases the day of your class. if you wish to shop. Please come prepared to show your ID at check in if you wish to enjoy wine with your meal.
