Corestaff is seeking multiple Field Supervisors for a client located that is located near Downtown Austin, TX. The associate would supervise and coordinate the activities of workers engaged in installation. Also, assist with the installation of furniture. Day Shift: 6 a.m.- until work is complete Payrate: $17-19/hr, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist Project Manager in the overall planning & coordination of installation project by reading blueprints, floor plans, utilizing appropriate technology tools and installation drawings to determine the best method and sequence of installation, in the absence of Project Manager, acts on their behalf to meet project deadlines Review job details with the Project Manager to ensure all materials and necessary equipment is securely loaded Assist in building strong customer relationships by communicating customer expectations to the Project Manager and/or Customer Service Coordinator Conduct Tool Box meetings with installation crew each morning Assist Project Manager in the creation of punch list to facilitate project completion Responsible for all company property assigned to their crew Receive and check-in furniture on direct-to-Jobsite deliveries. Keep detailed and accurate records of individual job assignments and time Attend monthly safety meetings Maintain line of communication with Dispatcher, the Project Manager, and Customer Service Coordinator Supervise large complex, multi-floor installations ensuring all installation personnel are properly trained, well-groomed, and performing their duties safely and efficiently under the direction of a Project Manager Assist in evaluating installation employees and provide timely feedback Enforce company rules and regulations and safety requirements. Regularly train and develop crew personnel on the job site regarding installation procedures, quality service, safety guidelines, etc. WORK EXPERIENCE: 3 to 5 years related work experience, strong preference for at least 2 of years performing office furniture installation 1+ years of supervisory experience High School Degree or equivalent, some colleges preferred Complete and maintain customer site specific badge requirements Excellent communication and facilitation skills Good judgment, problem-solving and decision making skills Ability to multi-task and work with many interruptions Exceptional interpersonal skills Ability to speak to groups effectively and maintain audience interest Able to learn and pass safety driver training program Must be proficient in Microsoft Office software Working knowledge of tablets and other technology… Corestaff Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer - All qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, color, religion, gender, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other factor determined to be unlawful under applicable law.
