Hagen, Manager of Phoenix Goodyear Airport, City of Phoenix Aviation Department Michael Stafford, Vice President/General Manager, AerSale Phoenix Goodyear Airport is the largest aircraft storage and Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul in Goodyear. Not many people know about Phoenix Goodyear Airport and the fact we have maintenance on aircraft as big as a B-767. AerSale does conversions from passenger to freight aircraft, as well as heavy maintenance on airline/charter aircraft, and inspections, paint jobs, etc. Its kind of a hidden gem as well. Presenters Bradley A. Hagen joined the City of Phoenix Aviation Department as Manager of Phoenix Goodyear Airport on April 17, 2017. Hagen has more than 28 years of experience in the aviation industry. He most recently worked as the Airport Projects and Operations Supervisor for Falcon Field Airport in Mesa, Arizona, where he was responsible for all operations at the airport as well as overseeing the budget, compliance activities and more. Phoenix Goodyear Airport is home to fixed base operator Lux Air Jet Centers as well as Lufthansa Aviation Training USA, a world-renowned pilot training facility, and AerSale, an aircraft maintenance repair and overhaul facility. Phoenix Goodyear is one of three airports owned and operated by the City of Phoenix. The other two are Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport and Phoenix Deer Valley Airport. Prior to working at Falcon Field, Hagen held various other aviation roles including serving as the Airport Manager for the Waterloo Iowa Regional Airport, Airport Manager for the Rapid City South Dakota Regional Airport, Airport Manager for the Fort Dodge Iowa Regional Airport, and working in airfield operations at Luke Air Force Base. Hagen is an Accredited Airport Executive (AAE) as part of the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE) and has a private pilot’s license. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Aviation Business Administration from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, a master’s degree in Aeronautical Science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Iowa. Hagen also served as the President of the Arizona Airport’s Association (AzAA). Michael Stafford has more than 30 plus years of aviation experience. Stafford joined AerSale as the Vice resident/General Manager in 2016.
