ATV/UTV Ride for the Richland Cetner Police Department K-9 Unit Richland Center Police Department will soon be welcoming their first K-9 in the history of the department. Officer Shawn Deneen, pictured with Officer Louis and Lucy, her Search & Rescue Dog, has been selected as the first K-9 Handler for the department. Officer Deneen has been employed with the Police Department for nine years. In a short few months, he will be training alongside the K-9 as it prepares to be certified and sworn in as the newest Officer to the Richland Center Police Department in 2022. You don’t have be a member of the Club or own an ATV/UTV to enjoy the ride, each stop we make will include giveaways for Him, Her the Kiddos and don’t forget the 50/50 raffle. Our last fundraiser for the community benefited the Richland Center Fire Department and the Ambulance Service by raising just over $4000 so we have a number to top this time. The raffle prizes are purchased by Dayton Ridge Runners Club with 100% of ALL proceeds collected being donated to the RCPD K-9 Unit. Each adult is $10 and kids are fee. Each registered person will receive a raffle ticket at check-in, which begins at 7:30am, leaving our first stop at 9am. The route will take us from the Phoenix Center to Yuba to J&R Orchard to Rockton and back to the Phoenix Center for our final drawing and 50/50.
