Seeking a hard working, responsible, upbeat person who enjoys interacting with all types of people to work at our Pumpkin Patch in the Windsor/Healdsburg/Forestville area. Time commitment: 2-5 days per week, depending on availability, from approximately September 15 - October 31. Weekend work is essential for this position. Duties: Work will be a combination of farm stand and field duties, as needed, with a majority of time likely spent on farm stand duties. Farm stand duties may include welcoming, orienting and checking out visitors, tracking reservations, accepting credit card payment with a digital device, restocking displays, and generally being a cheerful presence! Field duties may include distributing pumpkins through the field, cutting & gathering pumpkins and gourds, and collecting & moving pumpkins for customers. We like to work hard, have fun, and make beautiful pumpkin displays. If this sounds good to you, drop us a line. Requirements: Must be available for weekend work. You should be able to lift forty pounds, work outdoors in various weather conditions, multi-task, and enjoy talking with adults and children alike. We don’t need you to be a pumpkin patch expert… just a capable person who’s ready for anything! Hours: This position can be from 16 - 40 hours per week during the 1.5 month employment period, depending on the desire and availability of the applicant.
