Meghan Markle is a 13 week old Husky mix who weighs 15 lbs. When Prince Harry and Meghan Markle first arrived in their foster homes, they were shy, and took their time to warm up to their new environment. By the second or third day they started to get curious, so their foster parents brought them outside for some time in the yard. By day four they were running and playing with their two foster dog siblings, Jax and Marlee. They really started to be playful happy puppies. Harry and Meghan are crated at night., and sleep through the night with no accidents. They go to bed around 10:00 and get up between 6:00 and 6:30. We take them outside as soon as they get up to potty, with breakfast usually within 15 minutes of waking. After breakfast playtime begins, toys, the older dogs and wrestling with each other. Harry and Meghan love being outside. They are frequently found napping under a bush, or a hidden spot in the yard. They are both a bit cautious when meeting new people, but only initially. Usually within a few minutes they are fine with new friends. These two puppies have come such a long way since their first day. Harry is very sweet, gentle and a little shy. He is a playful puppy, that loves playing with his toys and discovering treasures in the backyard, like hiding under the car, finding a stick, or sleeping between the pots where no one can see him. This sweet boy is cautious, but will always come over for some gentle pets and a belly rub. They love human company once they know you. Harry loves his foster brothers and follows them everywhere when he has the chance. Harry is an energetic, playful puppy, but when he’s tired he finds a soft bed to take a nap. Harry is not old enough for walks and is working on house training. Meghan is the most outgoing of the two. She is energetic, mischievous, and playful. This beautiful girl loves to play with her brother in the yard, and especially loves to chase her foster brother,Marlee. Meghan, like her brother, enjoys spending as much time as possible outside. In the evenings, the two enjoy sitting outside on the porch in their beds or sleeping behind our flower pots. She is a little more cautious than Harry around other people, but enjoys belly rubs and playing just like most puppies. Meghan like her brother Harry is food motivated and will learn commands quickly with patience and a bag of treats. Both puppies would do great in a home with another dog. These dogs will need a very patient home that will help them to become confident, friendly, loving dogs. Meghan Markle is only an option for homes that have had a dog of their own in the last three years. If there are any children in the home they need to be over the age of ten.
