Seeking Violin player for band

I am a singer-songwriter-guitarist in Santa Rosa and I have a band that plays all original blues, rock, and other music. I'm looking for an experienced violinist I can work with who can either compliment the band as an additional instrument or possibly just add an additional voice to my "other" music. If I had to describe the genres, which is hard to do, it's somewhere near folk, country, bluegrass, soft rock, blues and singer-songwriter ballads and everywhere in between. There will be songs where I will provide you the notes to play and there will be other songs where you will be able to share your creativity. We are currently a 3-piece (guitar, bass, drums) looking to add violin for solos and to fill in empty spaces in the sound. Also open to cello if that's your thing. Ability to sing backup vocals is also a big plus. You must have your own violin and pickup for direct input to PA or amp. Practices are currently Thursday nights in south Santa Rosa from 6:00 to 9:00pm. No drugs - we are serious about our music.
