Experienced, reliable, easygoing drummer looking to form a new band. Need two guitars and bass with one of those fronting the band. Open to an experienced frontman and go to five piece band maximum. Simple concept: high energy rock band playing great classic songs that gets the crowd excited and on the dance floor. 60s and 70s era songs mostly. No slow songs/no ballads and nothing dreary. All upbeat. Song list ready to go. Rehearsals at Markee Studio in Deerfield once a week in evening. Looking for players in their 30s through 60s with experience in local bands. Stones, Beatles, Eddie Money, Billy Joel, Elvis, Chuck Berry, Police, Bad Company, Springsteen, Beach Boys, Boz Scaggs, Bachman-Turner, Petty, Kinks, ZZ Top, Doors, Allman Brothers, Skynyrd, British Invasion and more. With the right line-up should be ready to go within a few rehearsals. We will be the type of band to do well in the casinos and many other venues if marketed correctly. I have a beautiful brand new pro kit, DW for those that know drums. Played in several local classic rock bands last fifteen years. Solid player with good time, dynamics, and feel. Drumming influences include Buddy Rich, Keith Moon, Stewart Copeland, Charlie Watts, Ringo, Max Weinberg, Bonham, Peart, Dave Weckl, and JoJo Mayer.
