Pit bull or Cat to new home

Pit bull a year old. Cat is probably around 2/3 years old. Pit bull Needs someone who has patients she has not been around a lot of people so she barks but calms down after she gets pet. She does great with my kids ages 2-17 but not my cat. I have kept her in a kennel to limit their interaction but due to shelters being so full I can not surrender her or my cat for 4-6 weeks both are also on a waiting list to be fixed. Cat has had 1 litter 2 kittens neither of them made it past birth. I would love to keep both of them but unfortunately they do not get along with each other. Pit bull has a large kennel, cat has a litter box
