Seeking Synth/Keyboard/Piano mate to join established touring/recording new wave artist in forming a duo. Perhaps what I describe is something that interests you? There is a bit to read. We would practice once a week at my space. I would like someone who is around my age, which is 49, but is not required. It would be good to meet someone who has the same musical tastes and sensibilities. In performance: You would play synth/keys and backing vocals (if you feel comfortable doing vocals)I would run the drum machine, sing, stage scenery. Performances:  I am hoping to do several performances a year and will take care of booking. I would like to play where we are accepted and when we feel along the Eastern seaboard and Montreal. We could do one offs or maybe minitours and sight see. I would love to go to other countries. Recording: The newest release is already in the works and you would only have to learn those songs. When we might record, in the future I would take care of the expenses. PR: I would take care of that, though any promotion you do is gladly appreciated. Writing: As mentioned, the next release is written and mostly recorded.In the future, I have another album written and several eps already written, at least the vocal and rhythm. What would be fun is seeing what you feel about adding to the songs and we can write the music together. Name :I am going to use my name... and have some pitch ideas Ideas:  1. "My name" WITH  "Your name - real or stage name" or 2. "My name" AND "Your name - real or stage name" or 3. we can either just keep using just my name. I will continue using my website address because it has been up for 18 years and gets hits, traffic, etc. Influences: Grace Jones, Eurythmics, The Human League, Tina Turner, Cyndi Lauper, Laurie Anderson, Sade, Alaska, Mecano. Elements of new wave, new age, world music, pop. Lastly: If we feel, we could also learn some sort of old pop/jazz standards like Cole Porter songs and play those as a side gig if we feel.
