We are a small construction company that restores historic buildings. I am looking for a tradesman/general helper. You will need transport and a cell phone. Some construction experience would be helpful. We do masonry, stone, plaster, carpentry and painting. You will be working with me and maybe one other most of time. Our work week is usually between 37 to 40 hours. You will need to be adaptable. You will need to be physically able and willing to work. Your duties will include. Mixing and laying of mortar. Mixing of plaster. Set up of scaffolds and platforms. And generally assisting me. If you are willing to learn I will teach you all aspects of restoration. Pay will be $12 to $17 depending on experience, reliability, and aptitude. It is a good opportunity to work in the restoration side of construction. We focus on detail not volume. Most job sites are in Lexington and Frankfort and Versailles. I am based near Keen. I pay by check and on the books, I carry liability and workers comp.
