Older Rocker Drummer seeking Kindred Spirits

Description

I am a rock drummer seeking older seasoned players who would like to be involved with a new type of Rock and Roll Band Enterprise. I wish to assemble some players from the eighties and nineties who can still bring the heat and play. Today's bands need to be on social media and be video and live performers, and I would like to put that idea with some old salty rockers of the day and develop a band with a following. If you are the age I am, you should have a professional network developed over your career. My bet is those that worked with you and clients would love to see you play and cut loose. I am seeking upper 40s to early 60 in good shape personnel, who can still relate to the crowd, and have a passion for playing, both capturing it live, and video. We will NOT be laying bars every weekend, that is not the goal, nor would it target our market. Our market is "Nostalgia" for the hard rockers, and the younger musicians are loving the older stuff. They are starting to see the light. Old ways die and new ways come to be, but principals and quality are a constant. This is like a Rock and Roll "Field of Dreams" if you will. If we build it, they will come and watch and be. I am not looking for the best layers, just the ones that get it and want to do this, and make a lot of people happy, and smiling ear to ear with perma grins. Playing rock the way it used to be, from those artists that impassioned and inspired generations. There is a lot to do, and we need to start. The band's name is Time's Dark Captains and I have a band mix profile with links to my YouTube channel and videos of current and past playing. I have some merch and social media outreach down already and some cheap cameras and recording and editing software and an array of drumsets. My style is basic hard rock and I can learn and play some intricate stuff, not a solo drummer, kinda of like a "Hard Rock Charlie Watts" meets Cosey Powell, Tommy Aldridge, Jeff Pocoro, and Bruce Crump from Molly Hatchet. I like hard rock and big songs with impact, like Bob Seger's Hollywood Nights, More than A feeling. I do not want to "play the blues" because that is really boring for a drummer, so not looking for a blues band, however a few blues rockers are fine, just not a whole evening of it. The public and those cloistered up by COVID young and old are looking for nostalgia and good feel good inspiring rock that gets one "Jacked up". There are a lot of covers out there to play different ones that are great without playing the same old same old everyone else is playing. I am committed to this, and do not want to waste time yours or mine. Here is my YouTube Channel, look for Rock and Roll or Crosswind Reunion Playlists on the menu https://studio.youtube.com/channel/UCsZ-WeiHo3xC9P9ycJxPItg/playlists here is my band mix Profile https://www.bandmix.com/dana817/
