Description

You guessed it I play guitar. Sing, too. All kinds of guitars: electric, nylon string, 12 string electric, 12 string acoustic, acoustic, dobro, resonator, electric slide, acoustic slide...you get the picture. You probably do too. Bands like I mentioned often have 5 or more guitars on each track arranged pretty amazingly imho. I am looking for hopefully two other guitar players who dig putting each part together and can play any of the parts. If we can make a few covers w multiple guitars sound good, I'm pretty sure those covers set us up for creating our own song in the moment. For me, practice starting with a cover makes it easy for me to then come up with something original based on the vibe of something being covered. If that makes sense to you, then lets see if we can come up with a few cover suggestions to start. I'm sure if we ourselves find we sound relatively decent (I'm very self critical. I'm quite aware when I sound bad), there are definitely paying (low paying, but) options to play in front of people. And maybe, just maybe, we can come up with some pro sounding originals if we sound like the pros. There are plenty of other multiple guitar songs to cover by other bands, these 3 just came to mind at the time of this thought. Let me know what bands come to mind for you and maybe a few people answer this ad who feel the same. Bassists and drummers and vocalists who are interested please reply as well. Play on!
