Landscaping Project: Add Curb Appeal

I am located in the Downtown Las Vegas area. I am flipping a rental home. Current budget for this project is $1000 as I want to spend the cash I have on the kitchen, bathrooms, flooring and paint. That said, the space is something like 16ft x 16ft. I haven't measured recently but this is a guesstimate. There are no weeds and I already had some drabby looking rocks put in there. There are two bushes and a tree in the middle. The yard is surrounded by a black iron gate that I recently painted. I want the landscaping to be spruced up and improve my landscaping but do so within my budget. So if you think you're able to do this. (Your labor and anybody else you hire + materials) then I would love to hear your ideas. I will also send you a picture of what my place looks like now but still want to hear what you have to say.
