Versatile crafts-person / trim carpenter plus needed for renovating 60's airstream trailer. Indoor work, ~30 hrs/week for several months. Otimism, creative problem solving, and an eye for details will be necessary. Tasks will include: building cabinets to fit curved spaces, routing HVAC duct, making plumbing connections (pex, PVC, and fixtures), riveting, painting, working with corian and sheet metal, etc. etc. Ideal person need not have experience in all of these areas, but a general hands-on or mechanical mindset would go a long way. Ideal person would be able to work fairly independently with woodworking machinery, and stretch into working with tools of other trades. Vice versa could also work, in a pinch. Full disclosure: work will involve lifting, bending, noise, frequent minor discomfort, and occasional ladder/scaffold, auto-creeper, and small space sorts of work. It's not glamorous. That being said, the shop environment is pretty nice: stereo, coffee machine, well-lit, heat, easy-going company. Hours are totally flexible, located in City of Geneva. Possibility of transitioning from gig to part or full time employment.
