I'm a 50-something guitarist--flat-and-finger-picking--and good singer--lead or harmony--with a voice somewhere in-between Jason Isbell nd Arlo Guthrie. I'm trying to find someone to sing and play with, someone with a good ear for harmony and who hopefully plays an instrument, too. I want to woodshed and work out some good versions of classic and contemporary country/folk/Americana. Nothing pyrotechnical; I'm pretty decent on guitar, but want to thrash about on banjo and whatever else might strike our fancy, too. For obvious reasons, I love songs that can be played in an acoustic setting, songs from Bob Wills, Willie Nelson, Lyle Lovett, John Prine, Townes Van Zandt, Guy Clark... even Jimmy Buffet and CSN, if he mood strikes. The more acoustic guitar and vocal harmony, the better! Vaccinated and 4 2 O friendly.
