PMI Pipe, Steel & Supplies Warehouse/Yard Personnel are to participate in our warehouse operations and activities. Warehouse/Yard Personnel responsibilities include storing materials, picking, packing and loading orders. The goal is to increase efficiency, profitability and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship) Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store) Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization Complete logs for inventory, vehicles or deliveries as required Report any discrepancies Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers Operate and maintain preventive warehouse vehicles and equipment Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations Requirements Must be 25 or older due to inseparability requirements for equipment use Proven working experience as a warehouse worker Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods Good organizational and time management skills Experience working with Profit 2, similar CRM, or other computer skills. Ability to lift heavy objects, up to 50 pounds. Ability to squat, twist, reach and stand/walk for an entire work day Ability to work in Texas weather ie, heat, cold, dust, rain Ability to use a measuring tape Current forklift license High school degree Ability to read, write and speak English or Spanish ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS WILL BE REVIEWED DURING AN INTERVIEW PMI Pipe Steel & Supplies is an equal opportunity employer
