Description
Looking to rehome my sweet 2year old sheltie peanut butter Hit a hard patch in life and have to move out of my place and in with my current bf. It breaks my heart so much to do this but his dogs aren’t dog friendly to others and I’m terrified he will get hurt badly being so small. Ive worked really hard to get him where he is today, but he will need someone to continue what I’m doing. He is scared to walk out in public and prefers to be a home body and we’ve been working on getting him comfortable outside. He is nervous in cars but will calm down and lay done once you start moving, he will need to be buckled in or he will try to get right in your lap as you drive and it’s somthing I’ve been breaking him of. He eats purina proplan sport. He know sit, go, enough (when your done playing with him) and ouch (if he plays too rough he know this means to calm down a bit and play nicer), come, wait, and down. He knows not to bed for food and when you say go he does. He will also be literally be right under your feet all the time, he loves to be with you all the time definitely a follow you to the bathroom type of pup. But if you get tired of him doing so, the command go will also dismiss him. I give him a cup of food a day and he eats in his kennel and is very good about only eating till he is full, he is protective of his kennel and will bark at other dogs if they get too close, it is his space space and uses it to get away from everything. He is not protective of his kennel to people and will gladly get pets from you while he is in there, he is normally a very good amd quite boy but he is protective of his home and will alert you of people and cars that get too close to the house. He will need to be groomed, I brush him once a week and bathe him when necessary, he WILL NOT be shaved and is not the right breed of dog for that, he has beautiful long hair and is a blue Merle, he will overheat if he is shaved. he is neutered. And I brush his teeth once every two weeks or he gets bad breath. He will come with all of his belongings. I will be extremely thorough when picking someone for him, please be serious when speaking with me. I do not want to rehome him but I have to. He has a rehoming fee and it is firm. He will go to the right home and I prefer someone who is okay with keeping me updated on him because he is very dear to me. Please send your name and a brief description of yourself when contacting me :) I prefer text. And will not respond to emails
