As a dog trainer with Hudson Barks, you’ll play a vital role in our dog training family, and you must be committed to working hard, to learning and supporting dogs and their owners. Our ideal candidate: • Has a strong work ethic • Is always looking for ways to improve their skills and knowledge as a trainer. • Is reliable, honest, and patient. As a dog trainer with our team, you’ll have to work with difficult dogs as well as new dog owners. • Is excited to work with all breeds, all ages, and all issues. • Has outstanding customer service and communication skills. • Has the flexibility to work weekends and evenings as we are open 7 days a week. • We're looking for someone desiring a long-term career in dog training with our company! Pay: Based on experience Schedule: flexible Ability to Commute/Relocate: Jersey City, NJ and nearby towns Experience: Dog training: 2 years (Preferred but not required) Qualifications: Certified Professional Dog Trainer Knowledge Assessed (CPDT- KA) or certified dog trainer from a positive reinforcement training school.
