We are looking for volunteers who would like to clean some horse pens and if you already know how to ride a horse - for everyday you clean you earn 30 minutes of ride time.
If you are in need of riding lessons- every 2 days you clean you earn 1 lesson.
If you would like to clean all 5 days and take over the horses waters, you can ride a horse 3 times a week.
There will never be more than 13 stalls, they’re cleaned daily so if you get them done in the morning it is never a lot. It takes about an hour to clean them. If there’s ever less than 13 stalls which there will be at times, your ride time will never be shortened.
All we ask is that you’re reliable, you can show up at anytime as long as you show up. you can ride when ever you’d like.
If you are in need of some community service hours, we are a judgement free barn. We’d happily sign off on any hours and have plenty of work to be done! So any hours you work at the barn will be directly transferred to your community service.
If you just want to volunteer and be around horses, groom the horses, and maybe ride one day, that’s great!
Like I said we are a judgement free barn, all we ask is that you care about our horses as much as we do!
