hi there, I would like to play music, write lyrics, and/or sing alongside others. I don’t have any formal singing experience, but I do enjoy it. I like to play around with impressions and voice textures. Alto female voice, 25 y/o. I’m not a professional in anyway; while I am looking for something patient and easygoing, that doesn’t exclude the option of gigging or recording in the future. I played the tuba for 6 years and “bass” trombone for 2 years in a jazz ensemble. I am very open to learning other instruments, I just ask for the patience while I do! As for genres- I’m very fluid. I think that music is like speaking languages and that you can learn to understand and appreciate all of them, hone those tools, and perfect your craft wherever it may take you. TLDR; if you want to take the time to mentor and collaborate with a newbie who is easy to work with and a quick learner, hit me up. I have reliable transportation and a pretty flexible schedule.
