Horn players needed- Jazz Standards

SEPT. 5th 1-4pm I'm hosting a jam session for intermediate and advanced jazz musicians in Orange County. Please send an email with your name and number, what instrument you play, and your level of playing. We currently have piano, bass, 1 sax, drums, and guitar. More horn players needed. Saxophone, trumpet, trombone are welcome. Singers can come too, but you must bring your own PA. This is for traditional jazz standards, not fusion, not modern jazz, not blues, not world music. Straight ahead jazz. Bebop, swing, cool jazz, hard bop, some latin (bossa nova) is all OK. You don't need to know 200 standards to play here, I will make it accessible to people who are still in the process of learning the tunes. But please be at a level where you can get through a good amount of tunes, play solos, and sound reasonably good. This event is free, it's at a large house in Tustin, the music goes from 1pm-4pm on a Sunday afternoon. Please email for more info.
