Painter/Factory Worker (Rancho Cucamonga) employment type: full-time Painter/Factory Worker Summary: This position will be responsible for performing production work in our Factory. The workers will typically assemble and produce and inspect finished products ensure high quality. This person will be working in a fast paced, multi-tasked environment. Pay Rate: $14.00-15.00 + BENEFITS Responsibilities: • Perform in an assembly and manufacturing environment to operate tools such as: cutting saws, paint sprayers, and grinders. • Helps to maintain all of the shop’s equipment, such as non-electric, electric and air-powered tools, torches, grinders and presses; or oversees the maintenance of the equipment by workers. Equipment maintenance includes equipment inspection for damage or wear and cleaning and repair, as needed. • Move raw materials to the production areas and finished products to the storage areas. • Prepares the shipping of finished products, ensure ordered quantities are picked correctly and prepare shipping documents. • Choose appropriate packing materials and containers and pack products in accordance to product safety protocols. • Assist in unloading containers from the forklifts and loading them on delivery trucks • May drive delivery truck(s) to customer sites or accompany truck driver to the destination • Receive product deliveries from vendors and ensure that items are properly received, stored and logged on receiving logs. • Assist with monthly inventory or as needed including cycle count inventory; maintaining stocking orders. • Create delivery and shipment reports and ensure that all information is keyed into the company database. Skills Required/Qualifications • High school education, plus additional years of continuing education with emphasis on shop, welding, and warehousing systems. • Minimum of 1-2 years of previous shop/warehouse experience. • Capability to comprehend quality control techniques. • Acceptable knowledge of safety and health principles with OSHA certifications a plus. • Skilled in Forklift operations; Forklift certified. • Able to lift 50 lbs. and be on foot a majority of the day. • Must be skilled in the organization & management of time, resources & able to work under pressure. • Able to work independently with a positive “can do” attitude. • The ideal candidate will be driven to succeed, multi-task, • Bilingual capabilities not required, but are a plus. • Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening.
