Job Summary This position is responsible for the assembly as well as hand soldering of components to a PCB. Job Responsibilities • Perform assembly and soldering of a variety of components to a PCB • Verification of workmanship completed insuring each product meets the quality workmanship standards of IPC-610 • Able to interpret/follow visual aids assuring product conformity • Experience with wire runs and adds between components and or PCB designated locations • Review associated visual aids and related documentation provided to determine how components are to be assembled and soldered into the PCB • Utilizes various tools such as microscopes, eye loops, measuring devices, calipers, assuring overall product conformity Knowledge/Skills/Experience • Experience with Through Hole and SMT components as well as a variety of the types of chemistries utilized for this process are required for this position • 1-2 years soldering experience • Familiar with a variety of PCB components types, such as: Through Hole, SMT, shrink tubing, and wiring • Experienced using Leaded and RoHS chemistries • Strong attention to detail is essential to this position • Fine motor skills, dexterity and accuracy with continuous focus and visual attention required • Ability to work with a sense of urgency without compromising quality • Demonstrated ability to interpret drawings, Bill of Materials (BOMs) and Visual Aids assuring overall product conformity • Basic computer skills • Good communication and writing skills Education/Certification • High school diploma or or equivalent Benefits Popcorn Monday's Fruit Tuesday's Water Wednesday’s Soft Serve Thursday's Early Release Friday's Free coffee daily On-site Fitness and Recreational Center Medical HMO & POS Plan HRA (Health Reimbursement Arrangement) FSA (Flexible Spending Account) Vision Dental EAP (Employee Assistance Program) 401 (k) Retirement Plan ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Program) Profit / Risk Sharing Company paid - Life & Accidental Death & Dismemberment Insurance for Employee, spouse & child Company paid - Short and Long Term Disability Insurance Vacation Time 10 paid holidays Full time employees are provided up to 30 hours per year as paid time off to volunteer during their normal working hours for things like a highway clean up, the Special Olympics or maybe a breast cancer awareness walk Tuition Reimbursement and more.............
