After all we've been through the last year, let's take a night to celebrate just being together. Outside our houses. Off Zoom. Face to face. Since our last reunion in 2016 was such a lovely night, we're sticking with the same formula. The Pavilion at Juniper Hill Golf Course was a great venue that offered a mix of both indoor and outdoor settings. And October 16 appears on track for peak foliage in central Massachusetts - great for those of us that no longer live in New England and miss those colors. What does my $50 get me? Everything but the booze. Ticket costs cover the room rental, the dance floor, the food & decorations, and all the other related expenses. There'll be a cash bar for drinks. Food will be heavy hors d'oeuvres so bring an appetite. We've priced the tickets with the goal of breaking even. Tickets are per person. Our Fall Plans | The Delta Variant When we first started planning earlier this summer, we really thought we'd be well past COVID concerns. Unfortunately, the line of progress is never straight. So once again we find ourselves trying to guess where the world will be a few months out. If we end up needing to cancel because things get worse, ticket costs will be refunded (minus the eventbrite fees). I'm choosing to be optimistic. What should I wear? If low temperatures are in the forecast, dress warm. If it's going to be a cold night, they can put the flaps down on the Pavilion and bring in the heaters. But it still could be chilly.
