Lighting is one of my favorite topics to cover with photographers and one of the most frequent things I’m asked about. I’ll be going over basic prep and set up, lighting equipment and how I use it, modifiers and how to achieve specific looks, and TONS of juicy shooting details and tips to help you feel versed in your next studio session. I will guide you through my process on lighting and art directing for portraits, beauty, and fashion with some of my agency friends using some of my favorite one light setups into more advanced multiple light setups. You will walk away from this experience with a better understanding of studio light and how to manipulate it. I’ll provide you with lighting diagrams, techniques, and tools to command a set to photograph your very own killer images! We will be shooting with a world-class model and styling team! Get ready for an experience of a lifetime!! Who is this Studio Basics Workshop for? From beginner, or intermediate, to pro photographers, who would like to learn more about studio shooting, shaping light, and making it all work for them on set. We’ll be shooting agency models, styled and ready for fresh portfolio images. What do I need for the course? This will be an in-person workshop with LIMITED SPOTS, (also available as a live webinar) with open Q&A, so feel free to have a notepad with you to take notes, or write down any questions you may have and the answers to follow.
