Join the Preschool and Taube Center for Jewish Peoplehood to learn about Sukkot and how to make a lulav from local plants! Join the Marin JCC’s Taube Center for Jewish Peoplehood and the Early Childhood Education staff for a Sukkot Family Connections event! Come to our upper courtyard on Sunday, September 19th 9:30 - 11 AM for music, community and Jewish learning and crafts for the whole family! Together, we’ll learn about the different plants associated with Sukkot, what they represent and which local plants we can use to create a lulav your family will take home! We encourage you to walk around your neighborhood, favorite park or backyard to collect any natural plants that are meaningful to you to include in your very own lulavim. Space is limited - families must RSVP for the total number of guests in party. If you are unable to make it, please email [email protected] as soon as you know. This is an outdoor event and all participants over the age of 2 years must wear a mask.
