My Coffee with the Chief event is just one of the annual initiatives I am committed to in order to educate and engage our community about safety resources and safety tips -- as well as the future of our Southern Police Substation. Our goal in hosting this event at the Substation is for our immediate community to have a conversation with Chief Mata about what it could look like for the Substation to be open and fully activated for the public, as I've been advocating for and working with City officials towards.
