General Labor Position Esterline Construction is a General Contractor who builds multifamily apartments around the state of Florida. We are currently looking for general laborers in the Fort Myers area. Tasks are varied and include construction clean-up and punch/repair. Must be able to pass background felony check and have prior references Must be conscientious and hard working Must be dependable and punctual Must be able to work with little or no supervision at times Position Requirements • Lift, carry and hold construction materials, tools and supplies • Clean tools, equipment and material in work area • Work harmoniously, cooperatively and courteously with others • Perform miscellaneous duties and responsibilities as required • Load, transport and unload tools, equipment and supplies • Assist in lifting, positioning and securing of building materials and work pieces • Perform maintenance and cleaning activities with tools and equipment • Perform general construction and punch out duties • Lift and carry objects of various weights up to 100 lbs. • Repetitive climbing, stooping, kneeling, bending and reaching overhead • Repetitive use of hands and wrists using power, rotational and vibration tools • Climb ladders and stairs multiple times a day • Use of wheelbarrows and brooms • Tolerate legally permissible exposure to dust and chemicals, such as cement dust, solvents, and curing compounds • Must be able to hear commands from supervisors and back-up safety alarms on equipment Job Type: Full-time during the duration of the project Hourly: $12 to $14 Location: Apply in-person onsite: 7am to 3pm Monday thru Friday The Carlton of Fort Myers construction site 10631 Metro Parkway, Fort Myers, FL
