We invite you to join us September 15th for an evening of unforgettable pairings inspired by the story of The Prisoner Wine Company. The brand name and namesake wine, The Prisoner, weas inspired by the classic sketch Le Petit Prisonier by 19th century Spanish artist Francisco Goya. The sketch is part of Goya's series entitled, “The Disasters of War”, created to be a visual protest the injustice and brutality of the Spanish War of Independence in 1808. From our founding, The Prisoner Wine Company has stood in solidarity with the fight against racism, mass incarceration and the systematic oppression of Black communities. Menu: Course One Scallops w/ roasted tomato compote paired with Prisoner Chardonnay Course Two Sweet potato gazpachopaired with Prisoner Red Blend Course Three Smoked salmon crostinipaired with Thorn Merlot Course Four Braised Lamb Shankpaired with Prisoner Cabernet Course Five Creme Brûlée paired with Saldo Zinfandel $100 per person.
