Description

The Fall Equinox Fundraiser is a chance to honor new seasons, celebrate new ideas, reconnect as a creative and collaborative community. The Fall Equinox is the start of change - new seasons, new beginnings and new reasons to celebrate. At Roosevelt Row CDC, we are shifting and evolving as an organization, with exciting changes in the area and new visions ahead. From the UNCONTAINED Mural Project which supports the visual stories of Latinx and Indigenous communities, to our new mission, values and branding, as well as our recently conducted community survey and intentional collaborations with local artists and business owners, we are seeking to do things differently. The Fall Equinox Fundraiser is a chance to honor the moment of new seasons, celebrate new ideas, reconnect as a creative and collaborative community, and honor the incredible role artists have in this evolving neighborhood. The event will be hosted at Cahokia, an Indigenous-led cultural space to ideate, innovate, and inform the direction for collaboration, co-founded by Roosevelt Row board member, artist and entrepreneur Eunique Yazzie. Innovative collaborative initiatives like Cahokia will lead towards greater social and economic impact for artists and entrepreneurs alike. These types of important projects represent our next stage of growth, where the voices of artists are leading the way to shape the future of our creative communities. Join us at our annual Fall Equinox Fundraiser to support our growth and create the next chapter of the arts district!
