4 week/ 4 class guided course with free studio practice time. Perfect for beginners who want to take a more in depth look into Pottery. 4 (2 hour) classes  • learn all the steps in making ceramics, different shapes and styles of pottery. CLASS 1 : Centering clay on the wheel CLASS 2 : Throwing ( shapes desired ) CLASS 3 : Trimming and attaching. CLASS 4 : Glazing and underglazing. At the end of the course you get to take home your own handmade bowl, plate, vase, or whatever your creative mind develops!, you will also have acquired the skills to make pottery pieces for the rest of your life!. Includes: (4) two hour classes + clay + 10 practice hours a week ( 4 weeks)  + firing fees and studio glazes (4 weeks ) LEVEL: Beginner   *Class meets wednesdays from 6 to 8 pm OR Saturdays 11 am to 1pm, other dates and times available, flexible schedule.​ Free practice time from Tuesday to Sunday, noon to midnight. Pottery studio located in the heart of FORT LAUDERDALE, north of Downtown in the "MASS" district. Small groups and one on one teaching, learn how to make mugs, bowls vases and much more.
