We provide data, statistics, and support to transportation engineers using innovative approaches and industry leading technology. About the Job: Field Technicians are responsible for setting up various types of survey equipment designed to count vehicles and collect traffic data. We are looking for a dependable, full-time Field Technician to service projects across the Bay Area and beyond. The ideal candidate will be able to commit to a full-time schedule that averages 40 hours per week across the year. Depending on project location and duration, overnight stays will be required. You can expect to travel approximately 10% of the time. All work is conducted using a company vehicle. Hotels, meal reimbursements, travel hours, and flights (if required) are all paid for by the company. Our office is located in north Concord. Compensation as a Field Technician starts at $20.00 an hour with opportunity for increases as skills are developed and quality performance is maintained. Skills and Abilities: -Excellent communication: verbal and written -Strong attention to detail -Initiative: ability to manage small projects and solve problems independently -Technologically savvy -Navigational skills -Ability to lift up to 50lbs, climb ladders up to 15 feet, and operate power tools safely -Ability to adhere to safety guidelines Requirements: -Clean driving record -Pass drug screening upon hire and randomly throughout employment -Flexibility to travel on short notice, including overnight stays as necessary, around the state To Apply: After reading the description above, please fill out the application at the link below and provide a resume.
