Press release from the Town of Wakefield: August 26, 2021 - 7:58pm Night-time roadway paving will begin Friday, August 27, 2021, at 7 p.m. (weather and equipment permitting) on Vernon Street, from Lowell Street to I-95. There may be detours or traffic delays. Please avoid parking vehicles in the roadway as they will be towed.  Residents can visit www.wakefield.ma.us/construction-projects for more construction information.
