I gave Trump a chance-

Description

When Trump was elected, I was not happy. I simply have never trusted the guy. I think he is a sleaze ball. But, upon him winning the 2016 election, I promised myself that I would set my personal feelings about Trump aside and I would back him as president of the nation until he proved himself unworthy. I figured, if the majority of electoral delegates see something in this guy, perhaps I might be wrong about his leadership skills. Admittedly, it was less than a year before Trumps actions drove me back to hating on him, but the point is, I gave him a sincere chance. I will give any elected official an opportunity to prove themselves. I have supported every single president since Reagan. Trump is the only leader who I have opposed. But the point remains, in the best interests of our nation, I tried to back him. Many Trumpeteers have not given Biden a fair chance. The withdrawal from Afghanistan is some thing that every leader, republican and democrat and every American republican or democrat wants. This should not be a political issue. This is a matter of preserving the lives of our American soldiers and stopping the economic bleeding that has gone on for 20 years. The withdrawal may be ugly, but ultimately it is a big win for America.
