NEW ROCHELLE, NY — A New Rochelle man faces obscenity charges after being accused of squirting an unknown white liquid on four women.
The New Rochelle Police Department said Marco Medina, 27, of New Rochelle, was charged with two counts of third-degree obscenity, misdemeanors.
Shortly after 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, a woman went to police headquarters to report that early in the day, she was walking in the 200 block of North Avenue when she noticed a man following her.
As she boarded a bus, another woman told that her that the man had thrown something on her back. The man, who had a black beard, was seen walking south on North Avenue toward Main Street, wearing a gray hat, black shirt and dark, multicolored pants.
Around 2:30 p.m., the man was spotted on May Street and was positively identified, police said.
Four victims came forward, police said, with two of the women victimized three times each.
Authorities said in each case, Medina squirted an unknown white liquid, which was intended to mimic semen, out of a bottle onto the backs of the women.
A lab analysis of the substance collected in one of the incidents revealed no DNA, police said.
Police said the remaining incidents remain under investigation by the New Rochelle detectives, and additional charges are anticipated.
