One Dead After 2 Serious Crashes On Route 128 In Needham & Weston

NEEDHAM, MA — Two serious crashes on Route 128 in Weston and Needham create multiple injuries and leaving one person dead Friday. Heavy traffic delays are to be expected. Just before 11 a.m. a car and tractor-trailer crashed in Weston on the Route 129 ramp heading towards the Massachusetts Turnpike. State Police say the ramps from the Pike to and from Route 128 north are closed. Shortly after, a second serious crash was reported on Route 128 in Needham. One car landed on its roof and at least two vehicles were involved in the crash. WCVB reported injuries in both crashes but had no further information.
