MILFORD, MA — A 73-year-old Milford man died Friday morning in a collision with a semitrailer on a Mass Pike onramp in Weston, according to state police. The collision happened just before 10:30 a.m. on a ramp from northbound I-95 onto the Mass Pike. The Milford man, who was driving a Toyota sedan, was trapped inside his car after the collision and died at the scene, state police said. The driver of the semitrailer, a 57-year-old from Plainville, Conn., was taken to Lahey Hospital with serious injuries. State police did not immediately describe how the crash occurred, but images from the scene show both vehicles with severe front-end damage. State police were still investigating the cause of the crash as of Friday afternoon.
