GREENDALE, WI — Greendale Police Department recently responded to incidents where a man fell 20 feet from a roof, a catalytic converter was stolen, a person was scammed out of $1600 and more. Recently the department arrested seven people and wrote 75 citations, according to the department. Here is what Greendale Police Department responded to Aug. 11-17. When police arrived he was conscious and breathing. He fell when he was working on a roof Aug. 11, according to police logs. A catalytic converter was stolen from 5500 Grange Avenue, according to police logs.Someone reported four juveniles were banging or hitting the rear door of Highland View Elementary School around midnight Aug. 12. Police responded and two of the males ran away. The two that remained were let go. One of the boys who ran was cited for prowling and obstructing, according to police logs.A resident fell victim to a scam. She was told she needed to pay a bill from Amazon. The resident purchased $1600 in Apple cards which she then gave to the scammers, according to police logs.A woman was found sleeping in her car in the Speedway parking lot. She was cited for possession of THC. A man was arrested after a report that he "punched the window out of the front door" of his ex's home, police logs said. A car that previously eluded a traffic stop from the West Allis Police Department was chased by Greendale police officers. The driver again ran away and was not stopped, police logs said.
