Press release from the City of Brockton: 2021-08-26 City of Brockton Upcoming Streets Scheduled for Reconstruction Work Please be advised that the following is the list of streets scheduled to be worked on this fall:   Newbury Street (from West Elm St. to Spring St.) Brookville Avenue North Bassett Road Lincoln Street Liberty Street Dudley Ave & Blueberry Circle Addison Avenue Ames Street (from North Cary St. to North Montello St.) Woodland Avenue Forest Avenue (from Ash St. to Manomet St.) Gordon Street Sidewalks (on 1 side; from Forest Ave to Ash St.)   Please review the locations, notifying this office immediately if your company has scheduled any excavating work on these streets for underground utility work.  Please be advised once a street has received final paving the City will not issue any street opening permits for the newly paved street for five (5) years; unless the excavation necessary is determined to be an emergency situation. Due to the road work expect delays when traveling in these areas. ****Please seek alternate routes to avoid delays and prevent vehicle damages as the work will be daily, weather permitting. **** We are sorry for any inconvenience.
