A councilman, an author, a cyber privacy expert and other community leaders will provide practical, everyday tips for home, community and Internet safety at the fifth in the “Where Is God When Life Happens?” series, sponsored by 13 local churches. Wednesday, Sept. 8, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Parish, 404 9th Street, 5 to 7:30 p.m. Free refreshments served beginning at 5 p.m., courtesy of Jalapeños Restaurant and Buffalo Rock-Pepsi. Separate programs for children ages 6 and up, middle and high school students, and adults begin at 5:45. Nearby parking on the UA campus will be allowed without permits after 4:30.
