WOODBRIDGE, NJ — Woodbridge Township will start giving out third doses of the coronavirus vaccines starting Sept. 20, the Township announced Friday.
However, the Township cautioned these third doses are "available to anyone with autoimmune deficiencies." This is the criteria from the CDC on who should get a third shot: https://www.cdc.gov/coronaviru...
"These doses are expected to be made available to anyone who wants one by around September 20," said Mayor John McCormac on Friday.
Woodbridge will also hold its next vaccination clinic Thursday, Sept. 2 from 3-6 p.m. at the Woodbridge Health Center. They will be giving out the Pfizer vaccine, which is approved for children 12 and over.
New to September is that Woodbridge will also be adding weekend clinics, on Sept. 12, Sept. 18 and Sept. 26, from 9-noon at the health center.
