M.E. Equestrians now has fall riding lesson slots available for kids (ages 5yrs through 10yrs) Memberships are paid for monthly The lessons will be taught on a shetland pony named Trigger! Super cute and a very sweet boy (pics are of Mr. Trigger himself) The 1hr private lessons are inside an enclosed arena, plus pony homework for kids to do and bring back Lessons are available M-F durring the months of Sept., Oct. and Nov. Time slots are: 4-4:50pm 5-5:50pm 6-6:50pm Memberships: Each child must buy their own helmet ASTM/SEI approved and appropriate footwear( boots that cover the ankle and have a 2inch heel) A personalized M.E. Equestrian t-shirt will be provided for the child to wear as a part of the lesson uniform and they will be able to earn iron-on decals for pony homework they complete Trailblazers (bronze): 4 lessons a month for $200 Hackneys (silver): 6 lessons a month for $300 Eventers(gold): 8 lessons a month for $400 Additional lessons can be purchased throughout month for $60ea/1hr There are also playdays/daycamps offered on select weekends, with only a limited number of slots,throughout the fall months, but you must be a member to participate in/ sign up for Each Hr Lesson consists of: Grooming Leading/handling Riding- basic position/mechanics, steering and etiquette A Ponyhomework sheet for child to take home and learn and bring back for an iron-on decal related to that Ponyhomework sheet The lessons can be western or English whichever the child feels more comfortable I use sign-up genius for easy access to time slots and availability so you can schedule according to your own schedule (for example if you have a family vacation you can schedule your lessons whenever through the month so you get full use of membership) but please be aware there is a 48hr cancelation policy you must reschedule or cancel your lesson prior to 48hrs in advance or you use up a lesson from the membership A waiver and membership contract will be signed before first lesson Please feel free to call anytime between 9am to 9pm for more info or to receive sign-up link Thanks, Ms.Megan
